Among an impressive roster of indie entries this Summer, Woody Allen's next original feature Blue Jasmine remains a major mystery. As we've received sporadic updates of new images, the plot still remains under lock and key despite the intriguing previews. Now in addition to a new still (seen above), the first poster for the indie has arrived and takes advantage of not only the impressive cast but shifts the spotlight to our lead actress as well.
Set to be distributed by Sony Pictures Classics, Woody Allen'sBlue Jasmine tells the tale of the final stages of an acute crisis and a life of a fashionable New York housewife (Cate Blanchett).
Details are still thin, but the first trailer is set to surface in the coming weeks.
Co-starring Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins, Louis C.K., Bobby Cannavale, Andrew Dice Clay, Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg, Blue Jasmine is scheduled to enter limited release on July 26th before expanding in the weeks that follow.
