Asmir Begovic: Proud of making 100 appearances for Stoke

Asmir Begovic has insisted that all he is concerned about at the moment is Stoke City's survival in the Premier League.
The Bosnia international has continually been linked with a summer move away from the Britannia Stadium, but despite an impressive campaign personally Stoke have found themselves dragged into the relegation mire.
Playing the 100th game of his Stoke career, Begovic record his 11th clean sheet of the season at QPR to help the Potters claim a precious three points which takes them six points clear of the drop zone.
"Of course I'm happy, how couldn't I be?" he told Sport.ba after being asked about reaching his century with Stoke.
"I'm not running away from it, everybody is happy when he is linked with such clubs as Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool - I'm glad my name is mentioned in these stories, because this is the proof that I'm doing well."

"When you play so many games in one of the best leagues in the world that gives you a great feeling. This moment motivates me even more and I want to reach many more milestones. My goal is to progress from year to year and the more games I play the better I feel.
"The win against QPR was our first in two and a half months and we feel great. But it is only one win so we have to continue like this to ensure our survival in the Premier League.
"We still have a lot of difficult games ahead and we have to continue playing well. Nothing is over yet.
"My 11th clean sheet? I feel great but I'm sure that I can always do better and I'm still learning. The most important thing is the result for the club and when you win, everything looks better."
Begovic was asked about his future again, and said: "I'm not thinking a lot about speculation. I have a lot of work to do at Stoke City, we have to stay in the league.
"But I'm not running away from it, everybody is happy when he is linked with such clubs as Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool - I'm glad my name is mentioned in these stories, because this is the proof that I'm doing well.
"We will see what will happen at the end of the season. But for now the most important thing for us is survival."
