Eminem's latest album is rumored to drop July 2.
The rapper has been working on new music for sometime and has a European tour lined up for August. Although it was rumored that the album might be available as soon as May 28, it will be a little later than that.
"We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time," Said Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg, according to Billboard. "It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when. We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up."
Fans first learned of an impending album release when Eminem mentioned his upcoming work in a interview withChannel 955 last August.
"I actually started my album," Eminem told Channel 955. "But I haven't fully went in yet because I've been finishing up this Slaughterhouse record. I've kind of been really hands-on with this album for the past year."
The untitled album will be the eighth release from theSlim Shady rapper and marks the first new material Eminem has put out since 2010's Recovery.
