Selena Gomez Teases 'Come & Get It' From Sunny Indian Garden

الجمعة، 5 أبريل 2013

Selena Gomez is giving fans a little pre-weekend gift. The singer dropped 30-seconds of her single, "Come & Get it," and it's just as her previous clip teased: world music with a twist of Selena.
On Thursday evening, the MTV Movie Awards performer released the teaser on her website. Her voice soars, singing, "This love will be the death of me, but I know I'll die happily/ I'll know I'll know I'll know/ Because you love me so." The mid-tempo, Stargate-produced track sounds heavily influenced by Indian music, complete with a
slowed down beat and tabla drums.

In addition to offering up the listen, she also dropped a video along with it. In it, she wears a flowing dress, her hair long and wavy as she hangs around a sun-drenched garden.
Gomez will perform the song at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14. And just days before Selena takes the stage in Culver City, she will premiere the song on Ryan Seacrest's radio show April 8.
"Come & Get It" is the lead single off her summer album release. And while Gomez is singing about love on this song, as well as several others,"Rule The World" producer Jason Evigan assures fans she didn't delve into her personal life for inspiration.
"She didn't really want to talk about the Justin [Bieber breakup] stuff too much in her music," the Suspex producer said. "She didn't want to bash him. She never wanted to write songs about him."
He added, "She wants to be empowering for these girls not to dwell on guys when guys break your heart. She's super uplifting, positive, amazing person who's, spiritually, she's really strong. And she's a really cool girl. I think she's gonna have a great year for her."
