Micky Adams: Delighted with promotion

Port Vale boss Micky Adams feels guiding the Valiants to League Two promotion is one of his greatest achievements.
Vale's goal difference is such that Saturday's 2-2 draw at home to Northampton means they have done enough to clinch automatic promotion from League Two. It would take a 28-goal swing on the final day of the season to deny them.
Adams' side had to escape the clutches of administration to win their first promotion for 19 years.
Following promotions while manager of Fulham, Brighton and Leicester, Adams ranks this fourth promotion as one of the high points of his career.
"Promotions are always very special but this one must be right up there," said Adams after the draw against the Cobblers.
"We've been through the mill here this season and I've been at the forefront of it. There have been difficult times and to have achieved what we have achieved, with everyone pulling together, has been absolutely unbelievable. It's a minor miracle.
"I have four promotions under my belt now so the doubters and cynics can say what they want about me, I'm doing okay.
"The last time I achieved it was when I took Leicester into the Premier League, and this feels just as good.
"You have to experience being a manager to fully understand how it affects you. Putting a side together that gets you enough points to get over the line is something I'll never take lightly, and I'll certainly look back on this achievement with a degree of pride."
